Somya Voice is designed to teach singing & voice lessons giving students related tools to further their interests & career in music. I teach students of all ages at a beginner to intermediate level.

 

Students must have a genuine interest to keep up with the lessons, and allow themselves to let loose and express themselves artistically. In other words, they must be having fun! The material will vary as they continue their lessons with me, but I will always cater to what they want to work on.

The student can schedule lessons with me weekly or bi-weekly based on their ability to keep up with the lessons or their energy level. I would recommend doing weekly lessons for more consistent improvement on the voice.

 

My rates for teaching are $60/60min, $50/45min, $40/30min. The first lesson is a free trial lesson where I can get to know the student, and we can go from there. I ask for the month’s payment in advance by etransfer. Meaning, an advanced payment for all four lessons of the month if the student is doing weekly lessons or for two lessons if the student is doing bi-weekly lessons.

 

For a lesson cancellation, the student must let me know 24hrs in advance if they absolutely must cancel the lesson. However, if they can let me know well in advance (by at least a week) that would be more ideal for scheduling. The lesson fee is waived for a lesson canceled 24 hours or more before the scheduled lesson time if I cannot reschedule your lesson. The student is responsible for paying the lesson fee if they cancel their lesson less than 24 hours in advance of their lesson time.

 

Students who are late for their scheduled lesson will not receive their full lesson length. If the student is more than 10 minutes late to a lesson it is considered as a “no show” and the student will still be required to pay for the lesson.
